I really like this product! It made my hair soft, manageable, and shiny.. ..not heavy, sticky or weigh down.. I would definitely recommend this product!!!

This one detangled my sisters hair better than the other one and I use it as a leave in conditioner. I love this product the only thing I would change is the smell. I would change it back to the previous smell. It was just better.

This leave-in spray left a sort of gritty residue on my hair. At the ends especially. Not quite as bad as the one made for fine hair but almost. The ends squeaked when I ran my fingers through them & that's never good.
I have fine hair but the one made for fine hair was awful so I tried this one next & it was a no go. Ended up taking it back. :(

it's truly horrible. i've never had a problem with my hair and i used it and it has my hair greasy for days. ive tried scrubbing it out several of times and it still is greasy. way to make a warning label.

This stuff is truly disgusting! It makes my hair greasy and it weighs it down! I will NEVER buy this again! I am not a happy customer. The old detangler was soooo much better. Why did they change it to this crap? SERIOUSLY PEOPLE: DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

Hating the Detangling Spray

I have been using Pantene products for the past sixteen years and have been very happy with the results until you recenty changed the Detangling Spray. I've noticed that you have added alcohol to the new product. What used to leave my hair soft, silky, and manageable, now leaves my hair dry, dull, and less manageable. I don't understand for the life of me why you would change a really good product that was very difficult to keep on a Walmart shelf. Many times I had to go to another store because it was sold out...and most of the time I had to buy two bottles when I had the opportunity because I used this product daily and wanted to have enough. Now, I can find this product in abundance on the store shelf. I'm quite sure others may feel the same way I do because it doesn't seem to sell as well as the other spray. I relied heavily on this product and would love to see you bring back the former Detangling Spray.

Sorry you're disappointed with the new Pantene Pro-V Silkening Detangler. Actually, the alcohol used in this product is not the same ingredient you think about when you hear the word alcohol. The alcohol used in our conditioner products is a fatty alcohol and is actually creamy and makes an excellent conditioning ingredient. We'd expect it to give your hair a smooth feel when dry and makes your hair easier to comb through when wet. I'm sharing your comments with the rest of our Pantene Team.
